Some of you were no doubt wondering why I, Owen Curtis, have not done any blog posts in, oh, say … the last two months.

Believe me, there’s a good reason.

You see, I didn’t wish to offend any of the fragile (with good reason) egos of the other competitors with the Rip City Championship tournament ongoing.

What do I mean? Well, it was far too easily to imagine their taking offense at the fact that by utilizing this blog, I would have had several additional chances to “get myself over,” as they say in the business. Now that the tournament is over, that is no longer a concern.

In fact, these next 28 days are going to be fun.

As you are all aware, I have been suspended from in-ring action for the next four weeks for the alleged act of attacking Brody “Lone Wolf” Thunder. As far as my thoughts on that … I’m going to hold off for a while. Consider it a “no comment” for the time being. A “no comment” FROM a reporter. How do you like that?

I’m not going to use this space talking about old Brody. Nor am I going to relive my recent matches with Paul Driscoll or Johnny Pleasance. Instead, I am all about looking to the future. And in that spirit, I will use this blog to comment on some of the more “underappreciated” members of the Rip City Wrestling roster — and you can take that as you will.

In fact, I am gathering my scouting reports right now, and you won’t want to miss the insights I am going to deliver. Soon. In a few days.

Oh, and don’t forget to tune into “On the Wire” this Thursday night. A bomb is going to be dropped — and it’s going to make Dan Spreadbury wish he’d suspended me from talking rather than wrestling.

By the way, Spreads, check the way I spelled “utilize.” This is America. The letter “z” is your friend, yo.

Owen

Tune in right now!

Last week on RCW RAMPAGE, Owen “Truth” Curtis told RCW President Daniel Spreadbury — and the world — why he attacked “Lone Wolf” Brody Thunder. Tonight, Thunder sits down with the voice of RCW, Don Ditka, to give his side of the story. Will Thunder make a return to the ring to take care of Owen Curtis? Hear it right from the horse’s mouth.

It’s RCW On The Wire, the world of professional wrestling in 60 minutes! Ditka runs down all the other events from last week’s blockbusting RCW RAMPAGE, and looks forward to all the action coming your way seven nights from tonight, live from the Rose Garden.

Coming at you live from the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, witness the latest episode of RCW RAMPAGE, featuring the first-ever defence of the RCW Championship, as Johnny Pleasence battles “Your Hero” Danny Daniels. Number one contender “Pistol” Paul Driscoll puts his title shot on the line against Vinny Carmazzi. Plus seven RCW superstars make their debuts in the first-ever Debutants’ Brawl Battle Royal.

And Owen “Truth” Curtis is on hand to explain his recent brutal attack on “Lone Wolf” Brody Thunder — and the RCW President welcomes another very special guest, in the shape of Lord Byron!
